Our Policy & Advocacy department drives YSE's influence in European policymaking, shaping proposals, coordinating institutional engagement, and ensuring that youth perspectives are meaningfully represented in security policy discussions. Through strategic advocacy and evidence-based positions, we strengthen youth impact across Europe's decision-making arenas.
Our Tasks
Draft Policies & Strategic Proposals
We develop well-researched policy briefs, recommendations, and advocacy papers that reflect youth priorities and address Europe's emerging security challenges.
Engage European Institutions & High-Level Stakeholders
We coordinate YSE's outreach to EU bodies, national governments, and international organisations, representing youth perspectives in meetings, dialogues, and expert consultations.
Advance Youth Advocacy
We advocate for youth inclusion in security policy processes and empower young people with training, tools, and opportunities to participate in consultations, hearings, and high-level discussions.
